ABOUT US

REVOLUTION TEXTILES

REVOLUTION TEXTILES is an eco conscious textile company that offers premiere sustainable fabrics. Our mission is to inspire the fashion industry to choose sustainability by offering the highest quality fabrics that have a low carbon imprint. We aspire to make a positive impact on people and our planet. Our business practices strive to lower our impact on the environment. We are an American business based in LA for over 25 years. We have been working with domestic mills since 1990, to develop US made fabrics. We are excited to pivot our business to sustainable fabrics and domestic knits that include, hemp, linen, organic cotton and lyocell.

Our Commitments to Environmental and Social Responsibility:

ECO- INNOVATION

Eco-friendly material innovation is the heart of our company. We are experts at developing fashion forward fabrics with fibers that have a lower environmental impact. We source fibers that are plant based, recyclable and biodegradable with a lower carbon foot print.

HEMP

At Revolution Textiles our focus is on hemp because it requires zero pesticides, little water, nourishes soil, and absorbs carbon dioxide making it the leading sustainable crop.

ORGANIC COTTON

Our knits are made with GOTS certified organic cotton. It is free of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, and genetically modified seeds.

LINEN

We offer 100% premium pure linen. Linen is a flax plant that requires fewer resources such as water, pesticides, insecticides, and fertilizers. This contributes to less energy use. In addition flax absorbs carbon at a high rate.

TENCEL/LYOCELL

Lyocell is best known for its closed loop production process. The process of transforming wood pulp into fibers is highly efficient, minimizes water waste, and results in lower environmental impact. TENCEL / LYOCELL Lyocell is 100% biodegradable.

UPCYCLED FABRIC

We source local deadstock to divert waste from landfills. By using deadstock fabrics, we can reduce textile waste, conserve energy, and decrease carbon that otherwise would have resulted from new production.

LOCAL SUPPLY CHAIN

Our supply chain is simplified, transparent, and we choose local when possible. Revolution Textiles supports US mills to inspire more local production. All knitting, finishing, and laundering occurs in LA facilities. The short distance between our facilities helps to reduce transport and ultimately carbon emissions.

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE, REPLENISH

Our mission is to reduce waste. We avoid paper when possible and commit to a paperless payment transaction. By eliminating printing ink, virgin paper, and unnecessary shipping, we have reduced our company’s carbon footprint. All of our fabric headers are made from recycled paper.

INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY

Diversity is key to our innovation and creativity. We embrace and value diverse points of view and experiences. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to the positive impact we want to have on our employees, their families, and our community. We are committed to fair and equitable pay.
